Josh Futturman, a janitor by day and a gamer by night, is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time to prevent the extinction of humanity. I have seen 6 episodes and in each episode there are some very funny moments, but this is countered by the over the top unnecessary violence and gore that the series has incorporated, this really makes the show unwatchable for some scenes. These scenes are meant to be done in a comical way, if thats possible, but still they are really graphic and over the top leaving nothing to the imagination. The swearing is pretty bad as well.

Overall, the plot has been done many times before, but it is still watchable and funny in places. I would have gave it an 8 but the unnecessary gore and violence drops my rating down to a 7. First of all, if it wasn't for Derek Wilson, aka "Wolf" the show would be boring as hell. I mean just imagine for a second that there wasn't a "Wolf" in this show. Right? The show is predictable and full with "BTTF" references. The main character is like he got the job just cuz he resembles Michael J. Fox. And the Tiger character? As if the show needed a hot chick with purple hair and nothing more.

Look. Overall the show is great. But only if you think of it as a "one night stand." It's really good for binge watching. I hope they won't ruin this show by forcing us with a few more pointless seasons just to milk some more money. Just please don't ruin it. This was fun. Let's leave it that way.

I am already impressed that this comes from Seth Rogen. It's as if he is at its prime of his producer career like once he was at his acting prime with Freaks and Geeks.
